Online Workshop for Urdu Medium Teachers inaugurated at MANUU

Centre for Professional Development of Urdu Medium Teachers (CPDUMT) of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in collaboration with Telangana State Urdu Academy (TSUA )is organizing five days online Workshop for Urdu Medium Teachers of Telangana from October 19 to 23.

Prof. S M Rahmatullah, Vice-Chancellor I/c in his Presidential address at the inaugural said it is very important for teachers to acquire professional skills and they should attend such professional courses from time to time to enhance their skills and to add a sense of accountability.

Addressing the inaugural as Chief Guest, Dr. Mohammed Ghouse, Director/Secretary, TSUA said that teachers are the representatives of a Culture and as such their responsibility is further enhanced. The use of technology is very important in the 21st century. It is pertinent to aware the students as well as parents about the challenges of the future.

Prof. Siddiqui Mohd. Mahmood, Registrar I/c & Guest of Honour pointed that time is changing very fast and we have to adapt to the changes, especially be familiar with computer and internet. The National Education Policy is an invitation to all teachers so that we can update ourselves in the light of the new policy and solve the problems in the field of education. If we want to develop our country, we have to update ourselves, he added.

Mr. Farooq Tahir read out the message of the Chief Guest of the inaugural, Dr. Mohd. Raheemuddin Ansari, President, Telangana State Urdu Academy, in absentia. Mr. Ansari did not join the inaugural due to ill health.

Prof. Mohammed Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Director, Centre while welcoming the gathering informed that more than 600 teachers from Telangana are participating in the workshop.  Mr. Misbahul Anzar, Assistant Professor, conducted the proceedings and proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Sayyad Aman Ubed, Associate Professor, DDE was the Workshop Coordinator.
