Students are future of Nation - Prof. Rahmatullah Online SIP Deekhsharambh inaugurated at MANUU

Students are the future of  the nation and they must take it to greater heights. Prof. S.M. Rahmatullah, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) said in the inaugural session of  Student Induction Programme, Deeksharambh held online  on 1st October, 2021.

The Dean, Students Welfare is organising the  SIP for students admitted in NCTE and AICTE affiliated courses offered by the University.

Prof. Rahmatullah  while addressing students underscored the power of the pen and said that education is the tool that can motivate to bring out the best in individuals. Stressing on the need for patience, he said patience builds character. 

Prof. Siddiqui Mohd. Mahmood, Registrar I/c, and Dean, School of Education and Training highlighted  the importance of having  proper direction and aim in the life for students. Extraordinary  success is achieved when one works out of the comfort zone, he added.

Prof. Abdul Wahid, Dean, School of Technology and Prof. Saneem Fatima, Dean, School of Commerce and Business Management were the guests of honour in the session. Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf Jaisi, Dean, Student Welfare delivered welcome address. Prof. Mohammed Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Chairperson, SIP Task Group, spoke about the objectives and significance of the induction programme. Dr. Kahkashan Latif, Convener SIP Task Group proposed vote of thanks.  Dr. Jarrar Ahamad, Assistant Dean,  Student Welfare hosted the session.

 

 

FDP On Cyber Crimes And Cyber Security Concludes At MANUU

An Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Cyber Crimes and Cyber Security” organized by the Department of Computer Science & Information Technology, Maulana Azad National Urdu University and Electronics & ICT Academy, NIT, Warangal under the scheme of Electronics & ICT Academy concluded on 1st October. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India sponsored the FDP.

Total of 64 participants from across the Country pariticipated in the development programme that aimed at helping them in aquaring the knowledge in the domain of Cyber Crimes and Cyber Security. 

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor inaugurated the FDP on 20th September.

Prof. Siddiqui Mohd. Mahmood, Registrar I/c., MANUU was the Cheif Guest of the valedictory session.

The eminent Resource Persons from IIT/NIT and abroad included Prof. Sardar M.N Islam, Victoria University, Australia, Dr. Somitra Kr. Sanadhya, IIT Jodhpur, Dr. Ramesh Babu Battula, NIT Jaipur, Mr. Sai Satish, CEO, Indian Servers, Expert of Ethical Hacking and Advisor to Telangana and Andhra Police to handle the Cyber Crimes and Cyber Attacks, Dr. P.Vinod, CUSAT, Cochin, Dr. Smita Naval, NIT Jaipur, Dr. Kunwar Singh, NIT Trichy, and from NIT Warangal - Dr. E.Suresh Babu , Dr. Ilaiah Kavati, Dr. R. Padmavathy, Dr. Ramalingaswamy Cheruku. They delivered informative lectures and provided hands-on training to the participants . 

Prof. Abdul Wahid, Dean, School of Technology cum Chairman, FDP, Dr. Syed Imtiyaz Hassan, Head, Department of CS&IT cum Co-Chair, FDP and Dr. Bonthu Kotaiah, Assistant Professor, cum Coordinator and Convenor, FDP thanked NIT-Warangal and MeiTY for choosing MANUU to host FDP on a very Important topic.
