Deekhsharambh - SIP programme concludes at MANUU

Hyderabad:

Second phase of online Students Induction Programme (SIP) Deekhsharambh 2021, organized by Dean Student’s Welfare (DSW), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), for newly admitted students, concluded on 8th November. The programme inaugurated on November 1. 

According to Prof. Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Director, CPDUMT and President, Deekhsharambh Task Team, during the programme the students were introduced to rules and regulations and were provided the details about various facilities, curricular and extra-curricular activities available at the university. Senior officials and teachers addressed the students online. The program was successfully conducted under the supervision of Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf, Dean, Student’s Welfare.

Prof. PF Rahman, Director, UGC-HRDC, Prof. Ehtesham Ahmad Khan, Dean School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Prof. Mohammed Abdul Azeem, Proctor, Prof Saneem Fatima,  Dean, School of Commerce & Business Management, Prof. Salman Ahmad Khan, Dean School of Sciences, Dr. Akhtar Pervez, Librarian, Dr. Mohammad Yusuf Khan, Principal, Polytechnic Hyderabad, Mr. Meraj Ahmad, cultural coordinator, Dr. A. Kaleemullah, Deputy Director, Directorate of Physical Education & Sports, Mr. Imran Aslam, System Analyst and Mr Mohd. Abdul Mujeeb, NCC officer spoke on various topics during various sessions.

A documentary on Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was also screened by Instructional Media Centre of MANUU during the programme.

Dr. Kahkashan Latif, Assistant Professor, Department of Translation was the convener of SIP Task Group.
