Prof. Ainul Hasan inaugurates Refresher Programme for Commerce UGC-HRDC returns to offline mode after two years

The UGC-Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC) at Maulana Azad National University is organizing a two-weeks long Refresher Programme in Commerce and Management. Through this programme the centre has returned to offline mode after almost two years.

‘Set a example for your students to emulate, so that they begin to look upon as an idol and try to get your research published in journals of repute’, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor said today while inaugurating the programme. ‘Be an expert in your area of research’, he added.

The participants from different parts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha and Tamil Nadu had joined the course.

Earlier, while welcoming Prof. Tahseen Bilgrami, Director, UGC-HRDC pointed out that care had been taken to ensure the Refresher programme covered a wide gamut of issues pertaining to the subject and included the latest research in the area of management and commerce studies. 

The course includes lectures on research and marketing, new education policy, design and critical thinking.

Prof. Badiuddin Ahmed, Dean, School of Commerce and Business Management, Prof. Mohd. Razaullah Khan, Head, Department of Management and Commerce, Dr. Shaik Kamruddin, Assistant Professor also attended the programme. Dr. Meraj Ahmed Mubarki, Assistant director proposed vote of thanks.

“Jashn-e-Baharan”-Bait Bazi competition held at MANUU

 Hyderabad: 

Bait Bazi (Poetic Antakshri) was held on June 24, 2022 as part of ongoing Annual festival “Jashn-e-Baharan 2022” of students at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). MANUU Students Union (MSU) is organizing this event from June 24 to 28, 2022.

A total of ten teams, each consisting of three members and named after eminent poet participated. Four top teams make it to the semi-final. Team Amir Khusroo consisting of Shah Alam Khan, Shabana Moazam and Asma Firoz was the winner. Team Akbar Alahabadi (Abdus Saboor Maaz, Sanaullah, Atifa) stood second. Team named after Mir Taqi Mir (Mohd Ajmal Ansari, Sajjad, Murtaza) came third.

Prof. Farooq Ahmed Bakshi, Head, Department of Urdu, Prof. Naseemuddin Farees, Former Dean, School of Languages and Dr. Sameena Kausar, Assistant Professor, Arabic were the judges. They appreciated each team for displaying their spirit of discipline and passion for Urdu.

Dr. Bibi Raza Khatoon, Assistant Professor (Urdu) was the coordinator. Dr. Shafiq Ahmed, ARD, DDE, Dr. Talha Farhan, Assistant Professor (Arabic), Mr. Mazhar Subhani, BSc and Ms. Sumaya, MA Women Studies also assisted the event.
