About ICLT 2025

Law & technology have an intricate relationship as they are connected in a way which renders it challenging to decide whether technology should come first or the other way around. Technology has contributed to our advancement, creativity, & evolution from the development of the wheel to the contemporary discoveries of artificial intelligence. The way we live, work, and interact is being completely transformed by new technologies including Robots, Cybersecurity, Dgital media, communications, Artificial Intelligence,Machine learning,Blockchain and Fintech. The legal jurisprudence should evolve at the speed of technology, specifically, on the issue of applicability & implication of current laws and regulations that govern the use of technology especially on issues concerning the existing national/international law principles of state sovereignty, state jurisdiction, state responsibility, & state liability. In order to successfully negotiate the challenges of the digital age and guarantee a peaceful coexistence that benefits society as a whole, the conference seeks to promote a symbiotic relationship between law & technology.
