1 Are all the Programmes recognised by UGC-DEB and NCTE? Yes, all Programmes offered by MANUU through Distance Mode are recognised by UGC-DEB and NCTE wherever applicable. All programmes are approved by statutory bodies of the University.
2 Can I shift from one programme to another after taking admission. There is no provision for transfer from one Programme to other after taking admission in a Programme.
3 Can I take admission into a UG programme without intermediate (10+2) 12th Class qualification Only as per the equivalence list provided in the current Prospectus.

5 What is the fee for backlog papers? Please refer to the current year Prospectus. For further details, contact the coordinator of concerned Learner Support Centre (LSC).
6 What is the admission process? For admission, a candidate has to fill the Online Application Form along with supporting documents to be uploaded and pay the fee through Online mode only. For more details, please refer to the current year Prospectus.
7 What documents are to be scanned and uploaded along with the application form? Proof of Date of Birth

8 Does the University have Learner Support Centres, Programme Centres, Exam Centres? Yes, the University has Learner Support Centres, Programme Centres and Exam Centres.
9 Can a foreigner / NRI residing abroad take admission? Strictly as per the guidelines of Association of Indian Universities, subject to verification of equivalence of qualification and University rules governed by UGC-DEB Regulations.
10 Are any assignments to be submitted? Yes, assignments are to be submitted only at the respective Learner Support Centre / Programme centre as per the schedule.
11 What marks have been prescribed for assignments and term end examinations? 30 marks for assignments and 70 marks for Term end Examinations.
12 Are there any project works or field works as part of the curriculum? Project work is a component in Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication Programme only.
13 What should I do if I do not receive the Self Learning Material (study material)? Send an email with details of enrolment number, Programme and correct address to: ismail@manuu.edu.in
14 What is the mode of payment of admission and examination fee? Payment is acceptable through Online mode.
15 What is the last date for submission of assignments? Please refer to the Academic Calendar of the current year.
16 What is the last date for submission of Project? Please refer to the Academic Calendar of the current year.
17 What is the validity of Re-admission? For PG Programmes it is 2-years, for UG it is 3-years.
18 What is the Re-admission procedure? Please contact the Student Support Service Unit.

19 What is the Programme duration of the DDE courses? Please refer to the current year Prospectus.
20 What is the maximum age limit for ODL Programmes? There is no upper age limit.
21 Can I move to the next semester/year without appearing/passing in the examination? Yes, but you must pay the next year fee as per schedule.
22 Can I pursue any other course of any other University, in parallel to this ODL Programme? Yes, as per UGC guidelines.
23 How can I get Marks Memos after the declaration of results? You can download from the University website after declaration of results. Consolidated marks memo will be dispatched to you after successful completion of the Programme.
24 Where will be the examination centre of the ODL Programmes? Normally exams are held at the respective Learner Support Centre (study centre). However, if required MANUU may arrange for an examination centre at any other suitable place, approved by the University administration.
25 How will I get the Hall ticket for appearing for the examination? Hall Ticket / Admit Card will be made available Online.
26 Am I eligible to pursue M.Sc./M.A./M.Com after successfully graduating from MANUU? Yes. Eligibility is decided by the University granting admission.
27 Can I take admission in ODL MANUU after successfully completing the first year of regular course at MANUU itself? Subject to the existing rules and regulations and with the approval from the University.
28 Can I take admission in regular mode of MANUU after successfully competing ODL MANUU first year/ second year? Subject to the existing rules and regulations and with the approval from the University.
29 Can I pursue another Programme after completing a Degree Programme under ODL, MANUU? Yes, subject to fulfilment of eligibility.
30 Can I pursue a Master’s Degree Programme under ODL without completing a Bachelor’s degree Programme? Only as per the equivalence list provided in the current Prospectus.
31 If I am not satisfied with the marks I secured in an exam, can I apply for re-evaluation? Please refer to Examination rules for ODL given on the University website.
32 Can I change my Learner Support Centre (study centre) after submission of admission form or during the course? Yes, within 30 days of final admission.
33 How to get re-admission after the expiry of admission tenure? Please contact Student Support Service Unit.
