Profile of Dr. Mohammad Asif

Dr. Mohammad Asif is an Assistant Professor at MANUU Law School, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (A Central University), Hyderabad. He specializes in Constitutional Law, International Law, and Environmental Law. Dr. Asif earned his B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), an LL.M. from the University of Delhi, a PG Diploma in Energy Law from MNLU, and was awarded his Ph.D. from AMU in April 2025.

Prior to his current role, he served as a faculty member at Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University, Aligarh, and as the Head of the Department (HOD) at Mewar Law Institute, Ghaziabad. A recipient of the prestigious UGC-JRF and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF), his research focuses on climate change mitigation and energy legislation. His work is widely published in esteemed legal volumes and Scopus-indexed journals, reflecting his commitment to advancing legal scholarship.

Beyond research, Dr. Asif actively contributes to experiential legal education, regularly serving as a judge for national moot court and client counseling competitions. His blend of academic leadership and specialized expertise helps shape the next generation of legal professionals.
