Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established at National Level in 1998 by an act of Parliament to promote and develop the Urdu language and to impart Vocational and Technical Education in Urdu medium. The Headquarters of the University is at an outstanding central location-Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telengana, sprawled over 200 acres. The students and staff of the University are drawn from throughout India.
MANUU- VTC/ITI was inaugurated on 12th November 2007 by Mrs. D. Purendeshwari, Hon’ble minister of state for HRD, Govt of India. The Directorate General of training (DGT) has granted affiliation for Draughtsman (Civil), Electrician, Electronic Mechanics, Plumbing, Mechanic Refrigeration & Air conditioning.

To provide high quality and technically advanced Vocational Training, which enhance the student’s quality and ensures a wide horizon of employable opportunities for them.
Objectives
- The basic objective of our MANUU Industrial Training Institute, Hyderabad is to provide Quality Vocational education and Training to the Trainees, who can established their position in the global compete environment.
- To produce trained and skilled manpower for the development of our nation, to contribute in the National Skill Development task.
- To reduce the unemployment by imparting required self-employability skills to the trainees and also by fulfilling the requirement of industries.
- To develop Industry Oriented skills in the trainees.
- To inculcate ethical values in the trainees.
- To establish good Institute-Industry-Interaction.
- To transform our trainees into skilled youths.
Programmes:
Industrial Training Institute (ITI), training institute offers range of vocational/skill training courses covering a large number of economic sectors with an objective to provide skilled workforce to the industry as well as self employment of youth. MANUU ITI provides vocational training courses leading to lifelong career in one or two year skill courses. MANUU ITI is set up under Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. MANUU ITI is affiliated to National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and run training programme under Craftsmen Training Scheme.
The National Council for Vocational Training, an advisory body, was set up by the Government of India in 1956 (the then National Council of Training in Vocational Trades—NCTVT). The Council has been entrusted with the responsibilities of prescribing standards and curricula for craftsmen training, advising the Government of India on the overall policy and programmes, conducting All India Trade Tests and awarding National Trade Certificates.

The course in ITI is designed in way to impart basic skill in the trade specified. The duration of course may vary from one year to three years depending upon trade opted. After completion of desired period of training the person is eligible to appear in the AITT ( All India Trade Test ) conducted by NCVT( National Council for Vocational training ).After successfully passing AITT, the person is awarded NATIONAL TRADE CERTIFICATE (NTC) in concerning trade by NCVT.
