Department of Zoology was established with initiation of under-graduate programs in Sciences under School of Sciences in the year 2014. Presently it is under Life Sciences Section of School of Sciences and Zoology as a subject for B.Sc. (Life Sciences) and Ph.D. (Zoology) programs. The Section has well equipped and ICT enabled laboratories with instrumentation, specimens etc to impart practical skills to the students in the areas of Animal Diversity, Physiology, Cell and Molecular biology, Immunology, bio-technique.
