MANUU Arts and Science College for Women, Budgam was established in 2015 in fulfilment of one of the University's main objectives of empowering women through education. The College started Co- education in 2019 with first preference for Women. This College is the first Women institution, established by the Maulana Azad National Urdu University in the state of Jammu and Kashmir offering various regular PG and research programmes through Urdu medium. The College is presently operating from the premises of KSERT Humhama, Srinagar, which is a central place easily accessable. The College is also close to Sheikul Alam International Airport Srinagar and railway station Budgam.

The College is having an experienced faculty drawn from various Universities: University of Kashmir, Jamia Millia Islamia, Aligarh Muslim University, Hyderabad Central University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Indira Gandhi National Open University. The student fraternity have embraced the opportunity to complete their Academic Courses under the purview of dedicated staff, who guide the students to excellence in Academic field. The College has sufficient accommodation and a very big playground. Admission notification of MANUU-Arts & Science College is usually published for P.G & Ph.D. programs in the month of March –April.
