MANUU Polytechnic Cuttack has been established in the year 2018. It has all started with a good number of students admitted in Polytechnic courses from August, 2018. An entrance test is conducted in the month of June every year. A student has to qualify the entrance test to get admission into Polytechnic. Presently MANUU Polytechnic is running in a three storied rented building with built up area of 370 sq. mts located at CDA Sector-11, Cuttack. The campus is well equipped with all essential furniture, sufficient number of class rooms, computer lab, drawing hall and library. A permanent campus spread over 5 acres land is under construction located at CDA sector-13 (Brajabbiharipuri), Cuttack.
The Campus will also offer a 2-year course in ITI after the completion of the permanent campus. The students will also be imparted specialized training on Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Automobile Engineering. Nearly, 400 students will be enrolled for ITI and other polytechnic courses every year. Apart from promoting Urdu language, the university will also impart training in several vocational and technical courses under the skilled development programme.

Laying of Foundation Stone at MANUU Cuttack Campus , Odisha
Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is all set to open its Campus at Cuttack. The foundation stone was laid by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik on 5th December, 2018 at Cuttack. Shri. Naveen Patnaik after laying the foundation stone delivered an inspiring speech and congratulated the Vice-Chancellor of MANUU, Hyderabad for taking initiative in the establishment of a technical institute for the people of state which may have far reaching effect on the educational and cultural milieu of the people of Odisha. Most importantly, such efforts would be of immense importance for the Minority people who are equally important in the governance of the State. The magnanimity of the hon’ble Chief Minister was exhibited when he announced allotment of 5 acres of additional land space to MANUU Cuttack Campus on the request of the Vice-Chancellor for construction of Hostels, play ground and administrative block. Dr. Mohammed AslamParvaiz, Vice-Chancellor in his address to the gathering expressed his confidence that MANUU Cuttack Campus would certainly meet the expectations of the people in meeting the educational needs of the Urdu-knowing people of Odisha as a whole. The Vice Chancellor while thanking the hon’ble Chief Minister for sparing his valuable time that made this function a success, declared that this Project has been approved by HRD, New Delhi and the UGC has made specific provisions for the Building Infrastructure, Campus Development and appointment of Faculty. The construction work of Polytechnic and ITI buildings has been assigned to the CPWD which will start the construction work soon.Shri. ShashiBhusanBehera, Finance Minister of Odisha, Sri. Pratap Jena, Minister of Health, ShriBhartruhariMahatab, MP Cuttack and ShriDebasishSamataray, MLA also spoke on the occasion and gave their messages. Earlier, Prof. Rahamatullah. Dean of Campuses, welcomed the Guests and audience. Dr. B.K. Mohapatra, Director of Cuttack Campus proposed vote of thanks while Prof. M. Q. Khan presided over the function. The Programme was a great success and gave positive message to the people of Odisha for the development of technical education that MANUU has come forward to provide to the state.
