Profile of Abrar UI Haq

Dr. AbrarUlHaq is presently working as a HoD – Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Maulana Azad National Urdu University Polytechnic, Cuttack (Odisha) since December, 2019. He obtained both BE (Electrical & Electronics) and ME (Power & Energy Systems) degrees from the Bangalore University in the year 1999 and 2002 respectively. He started his teaching career as a Guest Faculty in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering at University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bangalore in the year 2002, there he worked till 2003. Later he worked as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in the Dept. of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at HKBK College of Engineering, Bangalore from 2003 to 2015. He also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Presidency University, Bangalore from 2016 to 2019. In the year 2011, he obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Administration (PGDEA) from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL), Pune. He obtained his PhD from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi in the year 2019. He has a total teaching experience of 17 years. He is a member of IE, ISTE and a Chartered Engineer. He has published 8 papers in the international journals and presented 2 papers in the international conference. He has one patent on his research work also.
