Objectives

  1. The main purpose of the Hindi Cell (Rajbhasha Cell) is to motivate and encourage the officers and employees of the University to carry out their daily work in Hindi as per Official Language rules.
  2. To motivate and enable administrative staff to perform bilingual work in their respective sections as per the Annual Programme released by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
  3. To promote and develop progressive use of Official Language Hindi by organizing various training programmes such as Hindi Pragya, Parangat and Hindi Typing.
  4. Preparation of quarterly and half-yearly progress reports and online submission along with hard copies to the concerned Ministry.
  5. Translation and regular updating of the MANUU website in Hindi.
  6. Timely conduct of meetings of the Official Language Committee.
  7. Liaison with external Official Language offices to monitor and update the progress of Hindi implementation.
  8. Liaison with the local Official Language Office (Rajbhasha Vibhag), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for study material under the Hindi Teaching Scheme.
