Profile of Ahmed Raza

Dr. Ahmed Raza is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU, a central university), Hyderabad. With a rich academic background, he has previously taught at several prestigious institutions, including Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, the Central University of Jharkhand, IGNOU, and Hamdard University, New Delhi. Dr. Raza completed his MA in Public Administration and Ph.D. in International Studies from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.

An accomplished scholar, Dr. Raza has authored two notable books: ‘Politics and Governance in India: Commentaries on Some Burning Issues’ and ‘NGOs, CSOs, and Local Governance in India’, and also co-edited a book titled ‘Public Administration and Development Dynamics in India’. His research interests primarily lie in Indian politics, governance, and public policy. Dr. Raza has contributed extensively to academic literature, publishing articles in renowned journals and books such as Routledge, Sage, EPW, IIPA and Outlook. He is also a regular columnist for leading newspapers such as Deccan Chronicle, Telangana Today & also writes for weekly magazine Frontier and online portals in India and abroad.
