Profile of Dr. Saidalavi. K

Dr. Saidalavi K is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Commerce, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad, with 13+ years of teaching, research, and academic administrative experience. He joined MANUU in 2013 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2025. He holds a PhD in Management Studies (2017–2021), MPhil (2011–2012), MBA in Marketing & HRM (2009–2011), and UGC-NET qualification (2011).

His research interests include Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Management, Leadership, Cultural Intelligence, Organizational Behaviour, Financial Behaviour, and emerging business technologies. Since 2011, he has presented research at numerous national and international conferences and has published 12+ research works, covering authentic leadership, cultural intelligence, consumer behaviour, e-learning, e-service quality, quick commerce, AI-enabled trading, and investment behaviour.

Dr. Saidalavi has guided 100+ MBA projects, mentored 100+ students, and currently guides 4 PhD scholars. During 2018–2022, he coordinated placements and internships and facilitated internships for 250+ students, while contributing to a 45% improvement in placement conversion and developing industry relationships with 30+ companies.

He has served MANUU in several academic and administrative capacities, including Academic Coordinator for MBA and PhD programmes (2026–continuing), IQAC Coordinator (2020–2026), Head of Projects and Internships (2024–continuing), and Head of Mentoring (2022–continuing). He has also convened major academic programmes, including a 2023 National Conference with 188 participants and 127 papers and a 2018 International Seminar with 130 participants.
