MANUU Team secures National Honour in Prestigious Youth Festival

The team of Maulana Azad National Urdu University brought laurels to the University by securing the third prize in the Mime category at the 39th AIU Inter University National Youth Festival.
The students who performed the mime included Mohammad Sahil Sheikh, Mohammad Hanzala, Abu Talha, Atib Ahmad, Asif Alam, and Shameema Khatoon.
Competing around 3000 students who participated from about more than hundred Universities, MANUU students' showcased exceptional talent in the competition.
The MANUU team had earlier secured first position in the Mime category at the South Zone Youth Festival, which automatically qualified them for the national-level competition. This achievement marks a consecutive success for the MANUU team at the National Youth Festival, reflecting the creativity, dedication, and artistic excellence of the University’s students.
Congratulating the team, the Vice-Chancellor of MANUU, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, appreciated the outstanding performance of the students and said that such achievements enhance the reputation of the University at the national level. He also encouraged the students to continue excelling in cultural and creative activities while upholding the rich cultural ethos of the University.
The University Registrar Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed appreciated the efforts of the students and mentors and wished them greater success in future competitions.
The students prepared the competition under the supervision of the Cultural Coordinator, Dr. Meraj Ahmad. Mohammad Badrealam Khan and Arshi Naz assisted in the mime programme.
The festival was held at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai from March 10 to 14.
