G20 Selfie Point inaugurated at MANUU
Hyderabad: As part of UGC's G20 University Connect Programme, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, MANUU inaugurated a selfie point today at the Centre for Professional Development of Urdu Medium Teachers (CPDUMT) at MANUU.
The Selfie Point is an innovative initiative that encourages students and faculty members to capture and share their experiences at the university through social media platforms. The Selfie Point is designed to be a vibrant spot, providing a backdrop of G20 and University Logos for selfies and group photographs.
Additionally, the Caps, T Shirts and batches with G20 logo prepared by Dr. Yousuf Khan, Principal MANUU Polytechnic, Hyderabad were also launched. The University officials, teachers, staff members and students were present on the occasion.

Extension Lecture held at MANUU

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Institute Innovative Council (IIC) in Collaboration with Telangana Science fair Academy (TSFA) organized an extension lecture in connection with the National Technology Day. Dr. Qazi S. Azhar, Clinical Associate Professor, Michigan State University, USA delivered the lecture “G20 Countries Emerging Hub for Science and Technology” at School of Technology auditorium, MANUU campus on 9th May.
National Technology Day is celebrated to commemorate the successful Pokhran nuclear tests conducted on May 11, 1998.
Dr. Qazi S. Azhar while delivering lecture showed how science and technology shaped society by providing the latest means of scientific innovation. In the health care sector science and technology contributed tremendously by developing life saving equipment and instruments such as CT scan, MRI etc. New medicines are also developed by using artificial intelligence which is improving the health standard of the world. With the development in science & technology the world and the society are growing and the G20 countries are moving towards from developing countries to developed countries, he added.
Prof. Abdul Wahid, Dean School of Technology and Prof. Salman Ahmed, Dean School of Sciences spoke on how science and technology is beneficial for the society.
Dr. Syed Sallahuddin, Associate Professor, Chemistry, Dr. Azizur Rehman, Guest Faculty, Botany DDE, MANUU, President Telangana Science fair Academy TSFA also spoke on the occasion. Dr. Mohammed Yousuf Khan, Principle, Polytechnic Hyderabad proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Jameel Ahmed, Assistant Prof., CSIT was also on dias present .
Prizes were also distributed to the winners of the poster presentation competition.
Hindi Workshop held at MANUU
Hyderabad:
The Hindi Cell of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) organized an Official language Hindi workshop on 9th May.
The invited speaker Dr. Seema Verma, Hindi Professor of Hindi Teaching Scheme expressed her views on the topic “Government Correspondence: Drafting and Noting”. She explained in detail how draft writing and noting can be used in government work. Redressal of problems faced by officers and employees in draft writing and noting were also discussed. The officers and employees of the university participated in the workshop. Dr. Shagufta Parveen, Hindi officer, MANUU Hindi Cell proposed vote of thanks.
