Yuva Sangam Delegation explores Sports Excellence and Cultural Grandeur

Hyderabad:

The Himachal Pradesh delegation delved into Hyderabad’s world-class sports facilities and iconic cultural landmarks on the third day of their visit under the Yuva Sangam initiative. The day’s activities were meticulously coordinated by Mr. Meraj Ahmad, Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), who serves as the Assistant Nodal Officer, Yuva Sangam Phase 5, Telangana. Dr. Param Singh, the Nodal officer for Himachal Pradesh, also played a key role in ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for the delegates.

The day commenced with a visit to the prestigious Gopichand Badminton Academy, a cradle of excellence in Indian badminton and the Gachibowli Stadium, one of Hyderabad’s premier sports venues. Nisha Vidyarthi, Assistant Director of the Sports Authority of India, Hyderabad Centre, coordinated the visit and deputed Mr. Brijesh, an archery coach, to guide the team.

In the afternoon the delegation visited the Statue of Equality, a monumental tribute to the 11th-century saint Ramanujacharya. They were captivated by the statue’s towering grandeur and its message of universal harmony and equality.

The musical night was organized at MANUU Campus in the evening. The cultural program provided a platform for the delegates to showcase their talents and enjoy performances that celebrated the diversity of Indian culture.

Dr. Danish Khan actively supported the Himachal Team by guiding them and efficiently managing their schedule to ensure smooth operations.

The Himachal Pradesh delegation will continue their stay in Hyderabad until January 4. The visit remains a shining example of the Yuva Sangam program’s commitment to fostering cultural exchange, unity, and a deeper appreciation of India’s diversity and achievements
