MANUU Officers Association felicitate the Vice-Chancellor

Hyderabad:

“Educational Institutions are the foundations for nation-building, academicians and officers of the university should be working incessantly and trying to contribute their best for the progress of the country”. This was stated by Padma Shri recipient in the field of Education and Literature this year and Vice Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan.

 He was being felicitated by the MANUU Officers Association (MOA) today at varsity headquarters following announcement of his name for the prestigious Padma Shri.

 The Chief Guest Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar of MANUU said that Prof. Hasan has an experience of more than three decades in the field of teaching and research and he played a key role in strengthening Indo-Afghan relations by introducing Afghan Resource Centre in Jawaharlal Nehru University. He informed that he has been earlier awarded President of India Certificate of Honor Award in 2017.

 Mr. Mohammed Mujahid Ali, President, MOA said that in view of his exceptional academic records, Prof. Hasan was very much entitled for this prestigious award.

Dr. Aslam Parwez, Secretary, MOA read the Association’s citation and recited his panegyric poetry to felicitate Prof. Hasan on this occasion and said that Prof. Hasan is an excellent poet of Urdu and Persian himself.

A large number of senior officers attended the ceremony and extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Prof. Hasan. Mr. Md Aamir Badr offered the vote of thanks.
