MANUU awards Ph.D. to Syed Majid Ali
Hyderabad:
Maulana Azad National Urdu University has declared Mr. Syed Majid Ali, qualified in Doctor of Philosophy in Translation Studies. He has worked on the topic "Urdu kham karpura ki tayari, qawaed-vo-maine ke lehaz se ghaltiaon ka tajzia aur urdu hindi urdu machini tarjume ke nizam mein iss ke asrat” (Generation of Urdu Raw Corpus, Grammatical and Semantic Analysis of Errors and it’s effects on Urdu Hindi Urdu Machine Translation system) under the supervision of Prof. Mohd. Khalid Mubashir-uz-Zafar, Head, Dept. of Translation, MANUU.
MANUU team for Inter University Football tournament
Hyderabad:
Maulana Azad National Urdu University’s team is participating in South Zone Inter University Football Tournament 2019-20 organized by VIT University, TN from 9-18 December 2019.
According to Dr. A Kaleemullah, Deputy Director, DPE & Sports, Aboobacker Sidheeque PK, Md.Helal khan, Shahid Ali, Md.Tabrez Khan,MD Imran Khan, Mohammed Raees, Md.Farookh Khan, Md. Sajim Ali, Kamran Siddique, Haroon Rashid, Anas M.( C ), Fabid V. K, MD Nadeem Khan, Muhammed Jabir Alik, Muhammed Sanoof Ali, Md.Aquib Khan will represent MANUU in the tournament. The team left for the tournament yesterday.
Prof Ayub Khan, Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof Abul Kalam Chairman, Sports Monitoring Committee, Dr. A Kaleemulla sent off the team with their best wishes.Mr. Muzzaffer Ali is the coach and Manager of the team.
MANUU ITI certificate distribution ceremony

The Industrial Training Institute, Maulana Azad National Urdu University today organized certificate distribution ceremony for the passed out students of ITI, Hyderabad.
The Chief Guest, Prof. Ayub Khan, Pro Vice Chancellor in his speech said that MANUU is the only central university where ITIs are established and working efficiently. Citing the examples of famous scientists Michael Faradays and Archimedes he motivatedand congratulated the students on completion of their programme successfully.
According to Dr. Arshia Azam, Principal I/c, ITI, Dr . Surya Prakash,Senior manager, Indian Immunological Limited, Hyderabadhighlighted the skill development courses and congratulated students and extended best wishes for their future.
Mr. Laxmi Narayan – Safety Manager of Indian Immunological Limited in his speech made the students aware about right skill and right talent by utilizing the resources and learning the multiple skills and adopting competency based curriculum.
Mr Narsaiah, Regional Deputy Director DET Govt of Telangana Hyderabad spoke about knowledge based vertical mobility programmes to enhance the qualifications of ITI students and lateral entry scheme for admission into polytechnic 2ndyear .
Dr. Mohd Yousuf Khan, Principal, Polytechnic and Incharge Training & Placement cell MANUU, exhorted the students to enter their field with full commitment and interest. Every year MANUU conducts campus placement for passed outs and final year students.
Prof. Ayub Khan and other guest distributed the National Trade Certificates (NCVT) to the passed out students.
Ms Asma Mohammadi, Instructor, R& AC convened the Programme. Mr. Mohd Ameer, Instructor, Electronic Mechanic proposed vote of thanks.All the ITI staff and students were present on this occasion.
