• The Directorate of Distance Education, MANUU provide the pre admission counselling to prospective learners with help of Regional Centers, Sub Regional Centers and 135 Learner Support Centers spread all over the country regarding programmes, subject, CBCS, process of online admission, fees payment of admission, counselling classes, assignment and selection of Learners Support Centers etc.
• Accordingly, the SLMs are being prepared. Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) has vigorously started adopting Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in its academic and administrative functioning. Admissions to all Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) DDE Prospectus 2020-21 8 programmes are now being conducted through on-line mode only. To improve communication between Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) and learners, SMS facility is now being extensively used to send alerts to students about various aspects of programme delivery such as Course Registration, Dispatch of SLMs, Assignments etc.

• Date of issue of Notification for admission to various programme.
• Pre admission counselling at Learners Support Centers (LSCs)/Regional Centers (RCs) and Sub Regional Centers (SRCs)/Headquarters.
• Eligibility Criteria.
• Fee details.
• Methods of Online Admission.
• Prospect of Various programmes.
• The students remains contact with the Learners Support Center Coordinator for counselling classes and for any other academic purpose.
• Questions paper for all examination in Urdu except languages and literature like Hindi Persian, Arabic etc.
• University reserves the right to revise the fee structure of any programme during the programme period. The candidates shall abide by the decisions of the University Authorities and rules and regulations formulated from time to time.
• Re-Registration fee for those candidates who have not successfully completed their course in the prescribed time, the University provides them a chance to complete their respective programmes after re-registration as mentioned below: i. For Re-Registration with Self Learning Material (SLM), fee shall be same as given in above table for all the year/s of which he/she wants to appear in the exam. ii. For Re-Registration without Self Learning Material (SLM), fee shall be reduced.

At present DDE runs UG and PG programmes.All these programmes have been approved by DEC and the B. Ed. programme is recognized by the NCTE. The total number of students registered in distance education is over 1,00,000 spread over 135Learning Support centers all over India. At present the University’s distance education support network has nine Regional Centers one each at New Delhi, Bangalore, Patna, Darbhanga, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bhopal, Srinagar and Ranchi; six Sub-Regional Centres one each at Jammu, Mewat, Lucknow, Sambhal, Hyderabad and Amaravati and an Examination Centre is in Jeddah, (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
