5.4 Alumni Engagement 5.4.1 The Alumni Association/Chapters (registered and functional) contributes significantly to the development of the institution through financial and other support services during the last five years.

Dean Alumni Affairs IQAC (NAAC – 2020)

Dean Alumni Affairs has been created to develop a linkage between the University and its Alumni by Creating its Network. The office shall provide a platform for meeting and interaction between distinguished Alumni and students of the University. During the period, following things have been undertaken by the office of Dean Alumni Affairs;

  1. The Office of Dean Alumni Affairs has created Web-Page on MANUU website with https://manuucoe.in/alumni/index.php link, where inter alia, relevant materials of Ten thousand alumni have been uploaded.
  2. Interview of three well placed alumni in MNC of Hyderabad was recorded and aired on ETV, Urdu on 14-04-2018.
  3. Special interaction between MANUU Alumni and Students was organised on 27th April, 2018 in Library Auditorium, MANUU.
  4. Book Release Function of Two Ph.D holder alumni and two Research scholars respectively was organised.
  5. Plantation drive was undertaken by eleven invited alumni, students and authorities of MANUU.
  6. Dean Alumni Affairs undertook the exercise of facilitatiting Alumni Registration Desk for the passed out Students during 7th Convocation on 20th Nov,2018 at The Gobal Peace Auditorium, ISB Access road, Gachobowli, Hyderabad. Under the exercise 500 alumni registered themselves with the Dean alumni Affairs.
  7. “The Time of Return” Special Interaction between MANUU Alumni & current students community was organised on 10th March 2019, in DDE Auditorium, MANUU.
  8. MANUU Polytechnic Darbhanga organised an “MANUU Alumni Meet – 2019” as Bihar Chapter on 7th April, 2019 at Satellite Campus Darbhanga. The passed out students of all three Polytechnics (Darbhanga, Bangalore & Hyderabad) were invited to participate in the meet. Approx 80 Alumni working in different sectors in India and abroad had participated and made this meet very successful. In the afore-mention program, Ex-officer of Navy, Commander Liyaquate Ali graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Prof. Ifetkhar Ahmad, Ex-HoD, Dept. of Mass Communication & Jounalism, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, was the Guest of Honour of this Meet.
