National Seminar on knowledge literature in Urdu at MANUU
The Directorate of Translation & Publications (DTP), Maulana Azad National Urdu Universities organizing a Two day online National Seminar on ‘Urdu Mein Maloomati Adab’ (knowledge literature in Urdu). The seminar is sponsored by National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language(NCPUL). The inaugural session will be held on February 10, 3:00 p.m at Instructional Media Centre.
Prof. MuzaffarShahmiri, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University, Kurnool, AP will be the chief guest and Prof. Mohd. Naseemuddin Farees, Dean, School of Languages, Linguistics and Indology, MANUU, will be the guest of honor while Prof. M. Shafey Kidwai, Head, Department of Mass Communication, Aligarh Muslim university will deliver the keynote address. Prof. SM Rahmatullah, Vice Chancellor I/c, MANUU will preside over. Prof Mohd. Zafaruddin, Director, DTPwill deliver welcome address while the seminar convenor, Dr. Aslam Parwez, will propose vote of thanks.
The first session will be held on February 11 from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm and will be chaired by Prof Siddiqui Mohd Mahmood, Registrar I/c, MANUU and Prof. Moinuddin Jinabade, Center for Indian Languages, Jawaharlal Nehru University. The second session will be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm and will be chaired by Prof. M. N. Sayeed and Prof. Farooq Bakhshi. For further details contact Dr. Aslam Parwez on 9908530276.
