Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan visits Srinagar

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) presided over the session "Role of organisations in SCoPE in Urdu"of National Urdu Science Congress 2021 jointly organized by Vigyan Prasar, New Delhi and Central University of Kashmir, Ganderbal. The theme of the congress is “Science Communication, Popularization and its Extension (SCoPE) in Urdu: The Role Ahead”.
On the occasion, Dr. Javid Ahmad Wani, Director NIFT, Srinagar invited Prof. Ainul Hasan to visit NIFT campus and also discussed various issues of academic interest.
Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, also visited Regional Centre, MANUU. Dr. Aijaz Ashraf, Regional Director, MANUU RC Srinagar and other officials welcomed the Vice-Chancellor.
MANUU Admissions ends on September 30
The last date for submission of online application for taking admissions in merit based Post Graduate and Under Graduate programmes of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is September 30.
According to Prof. M. Vanaja, Director, Directorate of Admissions, PG programmes are being offered in (Urdu, Hindi, English, Arabic, Persian and Translation Studies; Political Sciences, Public Administration, Women Studies, Economics, History, Islamic Studies, Social Work & Sociology) besides Masters in Journalism & Mass Communication, M.com, M.Sc (Mathematics). The School of Commerce & Management runs B.Com programme whereas School of MCJ is offering B.A (Hons)-Journalism & Mass Communication. The School of Sciences also offers B.Sc (MPC), B.Sc (M.P.Cs), B.Sc (Z.B.C) besides Bachelor of Vocational Courses in Medical Imaging Technology (MIT) & Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT). Both Schools of Languages and Social Sciences offer Undergraduate programmes too. B.A; MA in Urdu, English, Arabic & Persian programmes are available at Lucknow Campus whereas at Srinagar Campus MA in Economics, Islamic Studies, Urdu and English are being offered.
To take entry into main stream education, Madrassa passouts can apply for Under Graduate (B.Com./B.Sc.) programmes under Bridge courses. Similarly, University also provides Lateral Entry programme into B. Tech. and Polytechnics.
