Azad Day Celebrations at MANUU

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is celebrating birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first education minister of independent India, from November 3 to 11, 2021. The University celebrates Maulana’s birth anniversary every year On & Off Campus with zeal & enthusiasm.
According to Dr. Ahamad Khan, Convenor, Azad Day Celebrations Committee the inaugural function of the event will be held at MANUU Model School, Hyderabad on November 3, 11.00 am. Dr. Kafil Ahmad, Principal School is the coordinator of the programme.
Following a series of online literary and cultural events, Azad Day Memorial Lecture will be organized on 11th November, 11.00 am at DDE Auditorium in connection with National Education Day.
Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor will address a press conference scheduled to be held at launch of Instructional Media Centre’s Digital Initiatives on November 10 at 12.00 noon. Mr. Rizwan Ahamd, Director, IMC will bethe coordinator.
The other literary and cultural events being organized in online modes includes Bait Bazi competition on November 3, coordinator Mr. Mohd. Imtiyaz Alam whereas Quiz competition (Dr. Jarrar Ahamad, coordinator) & Film Screening on Maulana Azad on November 5 and cultural programme for staff children will be held on November 7, Dr. Mohd. Yousuf Khan & Dr. Zafar Ahmad are the coordinator of cultural programme. The Azad Walk (Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, coordinator) & Dastaangoi ( Mr. Meraj Ahmad, coordinator) will be held on November 8, whereas the debate competition (Prof. Mohammed Abdul Sami Siddiqui, coordinator) and symposium (Dr. Ameena Tahseen, coordinator) will be held on November 9. The blood donation camp at University Health Centre and Ghazal Sarai (rendition) programme are scheduled for November 10. Dr. Sameena Kausar and Dr. Muzaffar Hussain are the coordinators for Ghazal Sarai programme. The online national essay writing competition’s results will be announced on November 11, Dr. Md. Athar Hussain is the coordinator.
