MANUU receives award for preserving Rocks
Hyderabad:
Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) was today awarded a plaque by the Society to Save Rocks, Hyderabad for planning the development of the campus with protection of many outstanding ancient granite formations in mind and for taking special care of the “Pathar Dil” heritage rock by highlighting it’s stunning form through night-time illumination.
Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor, MANUU received the award presented by Prof. Fatima Ali Khan, President and Ms. Frauke Quader, Secretary, Save Rock Society today at his office.
Prof. Ainul Hassan lauded the efforts of the Rock Society to conserve heritage rock formations in and around Hyderabad and to create awareness about it among public. Prof. Hasan also expressed interest to host a photo exhibition and workshop by the Rock Society in collaboration with HKS Centre for Deccan Studies of MANUU.
The society conducted ‘Rock Walk’ in MANUU Campus on 17th March, 2019 to highlight the importance of Rock Conservation. The aim of the Walk was to show walkers the stunning granite formations that still exist in the landscape of the campus and how to preserve them.
It is also noteworthy to mention that Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) also presented the Heritage Award 2017 to MANUU while recognizing University’s efforts to preserve rare rocks formation in the campus.
Online Workshop on Inclusive Practices at MANUU

Centre for Professional Development of Urdu Medium Teachers (CPDUMT), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is organizing five days online workshop on Inclusive Practices from December 13 to 17, 2021.
According to Prof. Mohd Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Director, Centre, workshop is being organized under the patronage of Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor and guidance of Prof. SM Rahmatullah, Pro-Vice-Chancellor & Prof. Siddiqui Mohammad Mahmood, Registrar I/c, MANUU.

MANUU ITI Hyderabad, fourth phase of counselling
Hyderabad:
The Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Hyderabad, of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is conducting fourth phase counselling for admissions into ITI Trades. The last date for submission of filled in application form at MANUU ITI is 6th December, 2021.
According to Dr. Arshia Azam, Principal, counselling will be held on 8th December from 9.30 am at ITI, MANUU Campus, Gachibowli. Application form for vacant seats of different ITI trades can be obtained from MANUU - ITI Hyderabad or can be downloaded from website manuu.edu.in.
