MANUU to hold National Webinar on Reproductive Right of Women in collaboration with NCW
Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Centre for Women’s Studies (CWS) in collaboration with National Commission for Women (NCW), New delhi is organizing one day National online Webinar on “Reproductive choice of women is a fundamental right: A discourse from gender lens (with special reference to Covid-19)” on December 15, 2021 at IMC, MANUU.
According to Prof. Shahida Murtaza, Director, Centre the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan will preside over the inaugural session. The chief guest, Ms. Rekha Sharma, Chairperson, NCW, New Delhi will deliver keynote address. Dr. Mamta Raghuveer Achanta, Founder ‘Tharuni’ “Bharosa” Cenre, Hyderabad will be the guest of honour. Prof. S.M. Rahmatullah, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Siddiqui Mohd. Mahmood, Registrar I/c and Prof. Farida Siddiqui, Dean, School of Arts & Social Sciences will also address the inaugural.
Prof. Mala Ramanathan, Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum; Prof. Sanghmitra S. Acharya, JNU; Dr. Swati Rane, CEO, Sevashakti Healthcare consultancy and Dr. Vina Vaswani, Director, Centre for Ethics will participate in the panel discussions. The webinar will be telecast live on IMC MANUU Youtube channel.
