MANUU starts MA Legal Studies - Admissions till September 06

Hyderabad: 

Maulana Azad National Urdu University has launched MA Legal Studies programme through merit based from the academic year 2022-23 in collaboration with NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.The programme, one of its kind in the country, is offered under self-finance category and tuition fee per semester for the programme is Rs. 10,000/-.

According to Prof. SK. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, the completion of programme will help  students in preparing for competitive exams and may be placed in companies, NGOs as welfare officers, Legal Officer, CSR Executives etc. The placement opportunities may also be available in arbitration, mediation and reconciliation but the programme may not entitled candidates to practice as an advocate. The eminent faculty in law including Prof. Faizan Mustafa, Former Vice-Chancellor, NALSAR will be the part of teaching experts. Dr. PS Munawar Hussain, Finance Officer I/c is the Chief Mentor of the programme.

Part time diploma programmes are also available in Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Persian, Islamic Studies and Ghazal Appreciation (Tahseen-e-Ghazal) apart from Certificate Course inUrdu, French, Russian, Pashto.

Week Long Shikshak Parv Lectures at UGC-HRDC, MANUU

The UGC-Human Resource Development Centre (UGC-HRDC) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is organizing a week long Lectures Series titled ‘NEP-2020 : Changing Role of Teachers’as part of Shikshak Parv, grand celebrations being organized by the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission (UGC) to mark the contributions of teachers in the task of nation building. The Lecture series is open for all faculty members, students and research scholarsfrom September 5 to 9, 2022, 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.

 The Lecture Series should be able to simplify the details of the National Education Policy 2020 and it will be of immense help to faculty members who are required to revise and update the syllabus as per the needs of the hour.

Staff Tournament at MANUU

Directorate of Physical Education & Sports (DPE&S),Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is Organizing Maulana Azad Staff Tournament (MAT) 2022-23 for all staff members of MANUU Main Campus from 5^th September,2022 with the support of Indian Bank,MANUU Teachers Association, MANUU Officers Association and MANUU Employees Welfare Association.

According to Dr. A Kaleemulla, Deputy Director, DPE&S, Cricket, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carroms, Athletics are part of competitions. The inauguration will be on September 05, 2022, 05:00 pm at Directorate of Physical Education & Sports.
