Admissions open for MANUU distance programmes

UGC grants permission for 3 more PG courses

 

Hyderabad:

Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) is offering admissions in various distance mode courses to reach the unreached and make them empowered in education. UGC has given approval to start admission in three more post graduate courses. They are MA History, MA Hindi and MA Arabic.

Further, as per guidelines of UGC students  can now simultaneously enrol themselves in any two courses programmes.

According to Prof. Mohd. Razaullah Khan, Director, Directorate of Distance Education,  admissions are now available in M.A. (Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, English, History & Islamic Studies), B.A., B.Com., Diploma in (Teach English and Journalism & Mass Communication) and Certificate course in (Proficiency in Urdu through English & Functional English) for 2022-23 session July, 2022.

The last date for submission of online application form is 20th October, 2022 and Last date for payment of admission fee is 31st October, 2022.

The e-prospectus and online application forms are available at manuu.edu.in/dde (ADMISSION Portal: manuuadmission.samarth.edu.in). The programme fee has to be paid as mentioned in the Prospectus July 2022. The candidate can  also contact any of the MANUU Regional Centres/Sub-Regional Centres located at New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, Patna, Darbhanga, Bhopal, Ranchi, Srinagar, Amravati, Hyderabad, Jammu, Nuh, Varanasi and Lucknow.

Shikshak Parv Lecture series begins at MANUU

Hyderabad: 

A teacher plays an important role in the task of nation-building and as a teachers we must show exemplary  selflessness in imparting education to students”. Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) said yesterday in the inaugural session of a week long online lectures series ‘NEP-2020 : Changing Role of Teachers’ being organized by  UGC-Human Resource Development Centre (UGC-HRDC) of MANUU. The lecture series will continue till September 9, 2022.

The lectures are being conducted as  part of Shikshak Parv celebrations being organized by the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission (UGC) to recognize the valuable role of teachers in taking the National Education Policy - 2020 forward

The Vice Chancellor spoke about the need to make long term commitment to nation-building.  

The guest speaker, Dr. Shakila Shamsu, who also served as the Officer on Special Duty for the New Education Policy (NEP) and was Secretary to the Committee to Draft NEP, delivered the inaugural lecture. ‘One of key goals of NEP is to promote innovation in all areas of education and NEP is a path-breaking initiative and will bring in sweeping reforms in the field education in India’ she said.

Prof. Tahseen Bilgrami, Director, UGC-HRDC added that the lecture series should be able to simplify the details of the Policy and should be of immense help to faculty members.

The centre received an overwhelming response with 528 applications for the Lecture Series.
