MANUU - Azad Day Celebrations begins today

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is celebrating birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first education minister of independent India, from November 7 to 11, 2022.

The Chief Guest,  Dr. Oudesh Rani Bawa, Eminent Writer & Coloumnist will inaugurate Azad Day celebrations 2022 by addressing the students of MANUU Model School in Vattepalli, near Falaknuma on November 7, 11-00 am. Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, MANUU will preside over. Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, MANUU is the guest of honour.  

MANUU is organizing various activities to commemorate the occasion. On 11^th November Maulana Azad’s Birth Anniversary, which is also celebrated as National Education day, Azad Memorial Lecture will be organized.

Essay Writing Competition, Exhibition on Books and Rare Photographs & Film Screening on Maulana Azad is also part of the event on November 07.
