Talk on ‘Higher education opportunities in France’ held at MANUU

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) and Campus France India (CFI) today organized a talk on ‘Higher Education Opportunities in France’ at CPDUMT Auditorium, MANUU Campus.

Ms. Mirrin Raikhan, delegate of Campus France in her talk gave valuable information about the education system, admission requirements and the available courses with the aim of offering students a wider range of study options in France.

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor in his presidential remarks said the country is implementing the New Education Policy 2020 which aims to transform India's education system  and today's programme as part of NEP is for the welfare of students for their bright future.

The programme highlighted the growing collaboration between France and India in the field of education. With more and more students seeking to study abroad, such programmes provide an excellent platform for them to explore their options and also to get awareness about their future.

Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Dean, School of Mass Communication & Journalism, Prof. Shakeel Ahmed, School of Sciences shared the dais.

Large number of students attended the programme and interacted with the Campus France representatives and learned about different study options and asked questions related to future academic pursuits.

 

Lecture ‘Impact of Economic Decisions on Education” held at MANUU

The Department of Education and Training, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) yesterday organized an online lecture in connection with G20 University Connect Programme. Prof. Rumesh Chander (Retd.), Central Institute of Education, University of Delhi delivered an online lecture on “the Impact of Economic Decisions on Education: Reflections in New Education Policy 2020”.

Prof. Rumesh talked about the initiatives taken under NEP 2020 to ensure quality education and to equip students with the skills needed to succeed in the competitive job market. He also discussed the impact of various economic decisions taken by the government on the education sector in India. The lecture was followed by open discussion.

Prof. Siddiqui Mohd Mahmood, Dean, School of Education & Training delivered welcome address. Prof. Mohd. Moshahid, Head, Department of Education gave concluding remarks and Dr. Ashwani, Associate Professor proposed vote of thanks.

The faculty members,  research scholars, students of the department and other universities attended the lecture.
