6.2. Strategy Development and Deployment 6.2.3. Institution Implements e-governance in its areas of operations.

Response:

The University has adopted the e-governance policy of the Ministry of Human Resource Development and UGC.

  1. IT Intervention in the Teaching- Learning Process: - The process of examinations, evaluations are done in a structured and decentralized manner. Every student and staff members are given access University ERP (i.UMS software) for their day to day academic activities including registration, fee payment, seeing the attendance, results etc. The attendance records and internal assessment marks of students are entered by each faculty member through ERP which makes the system more transparent and convenience.

  1. Student Feedback Mechanism: Besides, 360-degree student feedback also obtained through ERP mode for analysis by the teaching department as well as IQAC for bringing continuous improvement. Degrees of the students are uploaded in NAD (National Academic Depository). All the degrees have been made tamperproof with QR Code facility.

  1. Digitization of Library Resources: The University has undertaken a comprehensive exercise to digitize the Library resources in the larger interest of the Students and presently using a specialized ERP (Koha software) and entry of students into the Library building is through digital mode by ID card.

  1. e-governance in Finance, Administration and Campus Development: -The University has adopted e-governance mechanism in the Administration systematically keeping in view of digital imitative by the Government of India. A few of such initiatives are (a) Digital Payments (b) Procurement through GEM (Government e-market) (c) Online Fee payment and (d) PFMS (Public Finance Management System Portal (e) Online submissions of student and administration data to MHRD and UGC (d) Online submission of progress of on-going Works in various University campuses to the UGC/MHRD.

  1. Creation of e-resources: - The University created e-resources through its Instructional Media Centre (IMC) for the use of MANUU and other students which have been made available through a dedicated web portal via ‘YouTube’ channel.

  1. New University website:- The University website migrated to a new website recently which has been made interactive for the visitors and students.
