Quality Initiatives

1) Prepared and Submitted AQARs for the years 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018

2) Conducted Annual Academic Audit of all the Departments

The IQAC conducts academic audit of all the Department of Studies, Colleges, Directorates and Centres on all the seven criteria of NAAC mentioned in the Annual Quality Assurance Report. The AQAR proforma is sent to all the Departments, Colleges, Directorates and Centres etc. and they are asked to assess their performance and provide information pertaining to their Department. Once the data is collected, it is collated and compiled for discussion. The IQAC in its meetings discusses the compiled report, and the areas which require improvement and the areas in which progress is made. The same report after the discussion and necessary reviewing in a compiled form is submitted as the AQAR of the University to NAAC. The AQAR reports of 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2017-2018 are submitted to NAAC after carrying out of this internal academic audit by IQAC.

For the academic years 2015-16, IQAC had sent a proforma titled Evaluation Report of the Department, along with AQAR, while filling this report the Departments and Colleges themselves carry out their auditing.

For the year 2018-19, the IQAC had developed a common proforma for collecting information for Annual Report and AQAR from all the Departments, Colleges, Directorates and Centres etc. For IQAC had been assigned the task of preparing the Annual Report of the University by the Executive Council of MANUU. Therefore, IQAC sought information from 1^st April 2018 to 31^st July 2019 from all the concerned. As Annual Report period happens to be 1^st April to 31^st March, whereas, AQAR period is from 1^st July to 30^th June.

The information collected from all the teaching and non-teaching departments and sections was collated, compiled, audited and discussed in the IQAC meeting, before the Annual Report is submitted to Government. The AQAR of 2018-2019 is yet to be submitted to NAAC.

IQAC also undertook a performance review of MANUU and prepared status report of the academic session 2018-19 based on the performance parameters, output targets and program of works covered in the Tri-Partite MoU signed by MANUU, UGC and MHRD

3) Prepared and Submitted Annual Report of the University for 2018-2019 to MHRD

4) Held conferences and seminars in collaboration with different Departments of the University in quality related issues and topics. (Data template)

5) Conducted MoU Meetings for Collaboration with different International and National Institutions & developed Pro forma and Procedure for International Partnership/Collaboration
