Independence Day Celebrations at MANUU

Maulana Azad National Urdu University is organizing Independence Day Celebrations on 15^th August, 2022 as “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 glorious years of Freedom. Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor will hoist the National Flag in front of the Administrative Building, MANUU Campus at 9:30 a.m. and will deliver the Independence Day message.

The Vice-Chancellor will also inaugurate a poster exhibition on Women Freedom Fighters being organized by the Department of Women Education at Centre for Urdu Culture Studies, MANUU. The exhibition will be open for all from August 15 to 17. The Vice-Chancellor will also plant saplings to mark the occasion.

Students will present patriotic songs and prizes will also be distributed among the winners of essay writing and patriotic songs competitions.

The flag hoisting will be webcast live on IMC MANUU YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/imcmanuu) by Instructional Media Centre of MANUU.

International Conference on “Urdu Journalism” at MANUU

August 25 last date for Abstract submission

The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad is organizing Three Day International Conference on “Urdu Media: Past, Present, and Future” as part of the celebrations marking 200 years of Urdu Journalism. The deadline for submitting research paper abstracts is August 25, 2022. The conference, scheduled to be held on November 13, 14 and 15, is part of the celebrations marking 200 years of Urdu Journalism.

According to Prof. Ehtesham Ahmad Khan, Convener of the Conference and Dean, School of Mass Communication and Journalism the acknowledgement to the participants will be sent by September 10, 2022, after the scrutiny of abstracts. The deadline for the submission of complete research paper is September 30, 2022 and acceptance or renunciation of paper will be sent by October 5, 2022. The selected participants must pay the registration fees by October 30, 2022.

The national and international research scholars, academicians, journalists, and other individuals who wish to present research papers should submit abstracts (not exceeding 500 word length) in Urdu, Hindi, or English at email kusbc200ic@gmail.com.
