Prof. D.K Dhawan & Dr.Nand K. Relan discuss importance of Diagnostic radiology & career opportunities with MANUU’s Allied Health & Vocational Sciences students*

To facilitate career opportunities & future scope of various students enrolled in Allied Health & Vocational Sciences, an interactive session was held at CSE Building, MANUU.

Prof.DK Dhawan, Professor of Biophysics, Punjab University delivered a lecture on importance of Radio safety measures in Laboratory & shared his experience. Dr.Nand K.Relan, Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology, Health Sciences and Biomedical Engineering,Department of Radiology, Stony Brook University, USA addressed the gathering & highlighted various imaging techniques & their significance in the diagnosis of diseases.

Later, both the guests discussed the job prospects of these students in India & overseas. The Dean, School of Sciences, MANUU Prof.Salman Ahmed Khan has also attended the event & proposed to hold a 10 days intensive worshop in future by inviting these two guests. Prof.S Maqbool Ahmed, Nodal Officer, appreciated the proposal of the Dean & desired to work out for the workshop at the earliest, later he has conducted an interactive session with students, where students got a broader knowledge of different topics.
