Event Description
“Meet the author” is an initiative whereby by authors of important books of present time are invited to share their experience as well as to discuss their books with faculty, scholars and students at the Department. The quest is to introduce students and faculty to the broader exercise of knowledge production and its circulation in context of a globalized world and mushrooming digital spaces. Under this initiative Hina Alam author of The Arithmetic of Desire, Dr. Ajay Gudavarthy author of India After Modi: Populism and Right, Abdullah Khan author of Patna Blues, and Nihkila Henry author of The Ferment: Youth Unrest in India were invited for discussions.
