H.K. Sherwani Centre for Deccan Studies & Society to Save Rocks, Hyderabad is jointly organizing

Rock Walk-cum-Workshop on 20.03.2022 (Sunday) in the MANUU Campus 7.00 am – 11.00 am

Registration:

Students who wish to participate in the Rock Walk- cum-Workshop should register their names at the office of H.K.Sherwani Centre for Deccan Studies before 16.03.2022 @ 4.00 pm

Students should wear proper shoes, long pants and come along with cap and water bottle

Programme Schedule

Rock Walk

7.00 am: Assemble at H.K. Sherwani Centre for Deccan Studies Building 7.00 to 8.30 am: Rock Walk in the Campus 8.30 to 9.00 am: Break

Workshop

  1. 9.00 am to 10.30 am: Lectures by experts at the Centre
  2. Ms. Kabita Das: Botanist
  3. Prof. A. C. Narayanan, Dept. of Geology, UoH
  4. Prof. Praveen Saxena, Dept. of Geochemistry, OU

10.30 am: Screening of Documentary film at the Centre
