University Overview Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University accredited with A+ grade by NAAC. Established in 1998 by an Act of Parliament, it promotes and develops Urdu language and imparts vocational and technical education in Urdu medium through conventional and distance modes. The university has seven schools, 19 departments, and 95 programs up to Ph.D., spread across 11 states. The headquarters is in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, on a 200-acre campus.
Department Overview The Department of Public Administration was established in 2006, offering B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. programs. It has qualified faculty with rich teaching and research experience and is engaged in research areas such as Administrative Theories, Indian Administration, Public Policy, Local Government, Social and Welfare Administration, e-Governance, Good Governance, Right to Education, Child Rights, Women Rights, Minority Rights, NGOs, and Disaster Management.
Conference Theme The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent a comprehensive global framework for achieving a sustainable, equitable, and peaceful world by 2030. Public Administration plays an integral role in steering sustainable development through effective governance, capacity building, transparency, and innovative practices.
