Exam Branch Structure

Teaching and Assessment are the two major processes of any Academic Institution. Examination Branch plays a key role in the process of assessing the students with a high level of confidentiality and transparency. The Examination Branch is a well established and maintained branch at Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad with a team of committed and dedicated staff member. The Examination Branch in MANUU is headed by the Controller of Examinations with a team of experts as, Additional Controller of Examinations, Assistant Controller of Examinations, Assistant Registrar and Assistant Regional Director with sufficient administrative and supporting staff.

The Prime responsibilities of Examination Branch is to notify the examinations schedule, processing of examination applications, issuance of Hall Tickets, appointment of Chief Superintendent / Chief of Evaluation , conduct of all examinations (Both Regular Mode and Distance Mode) in fair and systematic manner, to conduct Evaluation process, to publish results, issuance of Marks Memo, CMM, PC and Degree Certificates, and to Conduct Convocation, under the timely directions and approvals of Honourable Vice Chancellor, and Registrar of the University. University / Examination Branch, uses an in-house developed software (iUMS) for maintaining staff and student records / data online and for Printing / Publishing the examination related documents with online portal, to extend the facilities to all the stake holders of the university at their finger tips. Also, Examination Branch maintains all records pertaining to examinations.

In Examination Branch an active and very responsive Grievance Cell is functioning, whose responsibility is to address all the grievances from the various stake holders of the University, and also, to answer all the RTI quarries, as desired.
