3rd HELE conference - 2025

Turning the pages of history to explore the evolution of English language education in India and contextualising language education in today's scenario, the Department of English, Maulana Azad National Urdu University and The Society for Studies in the History of English Language Education jointly organised the 3rd HELE conference on 29th and 30th January 2025 titled ‘History of English Language Education in India: Interactions and Implementation’ at MANUU, Hyderabad.

The Inaugural was graced by our honourable vice chancellor, Padma Shri Prof. Ainul Hasan and our Esteemed Registrar, Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmad.

The conference concluded with a valedictory session chaired by Prof. Shugufta Shaheen (OSD-1).
