With reference to the UGC orders regarding Establishment of an Office for International Affairs vide order no. D.O.NO.152-8/2020(IC) dated 13th January, 2021. Prof. Syed Najamul Hasan, Professor Department of Mathematics was appointed as Coordinator, International Affairs vide order No.MANUU/ER-I(B)/F.296/2022-23/941 dated 01st November, 2022.
In pursuance of the decision taken by the Executive Council at its 87th meeting held on 09.12.2021, the existing nomenclature of Dean, International Students has been changed to Coordinator, International Affairs vide order No.MANUU/ER/-I(B)/F.296/2021-22/1077 dated 5th January, 2022.
The University has been accepting students from various countries, including Iran, Yemen, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Ethiopia, Uzbekistan and Japan to promote MANUU’s educational mission abroad. After, its establishment, the DIS also started facilitating admission process, oversees international students’ issues, and provides advice to the international students about Foreign Registration Office.
The Office of International Affairs coordinates the University’s international collaborations in close contact with the university leadership, various faculties and departments. If requested, hostel accommodation may be provided at various Men’s and Ladies’ Hostels of the University campus, subject to availability, as per university norms.
