The Closing Ceremony of the Nomination Jury of the 14th CMS VATAVARAN International Environment & Wildlife Film Festival is being organized jointly by the Instructional Media Centre, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) and the Centre for Media Studies (CMS) on 10 September 2026.
Shri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Special Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana, will grace the event as the Chief Guest and Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, MANUU will preside over.
Dr. P. N. Vasanti Rao, Director General, CMS & Global Co-Chair, IUCN #NatureForAll, and Shri Suresh Chukkapalli, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Hyderabad & Chairperson of the 14th CMS VATAVARAN Nomination Jury, will be the Guests of Honour.
The Nomination Jury is being chaired by Shri Suresh Chukkapalli, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Hyderabad with Mr. Rizwan Ahmad, Director, Instructional Media Centre, MANUU, serving as Co-Juror. Distinguished 28 professionals from the fields of cinema, media, academia, environment, conservation and civil society are participating in the Jury process.
