Delegation from Karnataka Urdu Academy meets MANUU VC

 

Hyderabad:

"Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has been actively working for the development and promotion of Urdu language and literature, journalism and civilization and all aspects of education and learning for the past 26 years", said Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan during a discussion with the delegation of Karnataka Urdu Academy, Bangalore today.

Briefing about the performance of various departments, Prof. Ainul Hasan said that MANUU has started the School of Law from this academic year. Welcoming the delegation, the Vice Chancellor said that this initiative of Karnataka Urdu Academy to observe the goals and objectives of MANUU, its performance and management is commendable. MANUU and Karnataka Urdu Academy being a responsible government institutions, whose primary objective is the development and welfare of Urdu language, literature and education, can work together to achieve their goals, he added.

Dr. Maazuddin Khan, Registrar, Karnataka Urdu Academy, while expressing his views, briefly shed light on the activities of the Academy. Mr. Azam Shahid and Dr. Anis Siddiqui also spoke on the occasion.

Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Dean, School of MCJ delivered welcome address. Prof. Ehtesham Ahmed Khan detailed about the engagements of the two days visit and highlighted the purpose of the visit of the delegation of the Academy.

Earlier, on the first day of this three-day visit, the delegation also met Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, MANUU.
