The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is organizing a two-Day Workshop on "Mobile and Data Journalism: Embracing Innovation in Media" on September 26 and 27.
Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, MANUU will preside over the inaugural function on September 26 at 3.00 pm and valedictory session will be held on September 27 at 4.00 pm.
Mr. Brajesh Misra, Editor in Chief, Bharat Samachar, UP, Mr. Nitin Srivastava, Editor, BBC Hindi, New Delhi, Mr. Md. Faheem Qureshi, President, TGMREIS, Hyderabad, Mr. K M Fasihuddin, Director, Madina Education and Welfare Society, Hyderabad, Mr. Mohammed Imran, Chairman, I Link Overseas, Hyderabad, Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, MANUU and Prof. Ehtesham Ahmad Khan, MCJ, MANUU are the speakers of the inaugural function.
According to Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Dean & Head, MCJ, MANUU, the workshop aims to set a stage for journalists, media professionals and interested persons to delve into the future of media innovation.
Mr. Tafseer Iqbal, IPS, Special Secretary, Department of Minority Welfare, GoT, Prof. Atish Prashar, Former Dean, School of Media, Arts & Aesthetics, CUSB, Gaya, Prof. Syed Afshana, Media Education Research Centre University of Kashmir, Srinagar and Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed will be the speakers of the valedictory programme.
