MANUU Students shine in TGPSC exam
Hyderabad:
Five students from Maulana Azad National Urdu University, CSE Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) have qualified Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) Group I Services Examination brining laurels to the University through their hard work and dedication.
According to Prof. H. Aleem Basha, Director, CSE - RCS, the qualified students are now set to join the administrative services of Telangana, contributing towards public governance and service to society. The qualified students - Banavath Vanaja allotted post of Asst. District Collector, Gajare Sangeetha as Dy. Superintendent of Police, Gangavath Pawan Kalyan as Asst. Treasury, Muthyala Rajshekhar Asst. District Employment Officer and R Mery Gold as Asst. Commercial Tax Officer.
Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor and Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar have congratulated these students and stated that the success of MANUU students in competitive examination highlights the University's commitment to academic excellence, quality mentoring and holistic student development. Prof. Aleem Basha remarked that their success is a result of persistent efforts, faculty guidance and supportive environment by the University.
The MANUU Fraternity also congratulates them for this remarkable achievement.
National Workshop on Capacity Building for Urdu Journalists ends
Hyderabad:
Three-day national workshop “Capacity Building for Working Urdu Journalists”, organized by the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL), Ministry of Education, Government of India in collaboration with the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), concluded yesterday.
Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor, in his valedictory address encouraged students to excel in their field. He recited poetry to motivate them, and created a vibrant and inspiring environment with his words.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Nagendra Kumar Singh, expressed his views on the importance of languages in India, the contribution of Urdu journalism, and the revolutionary role of media in society. He also distributed certificates to all participants of the workshop.
Dr. Mustafa Ali Sarwari shared his reflections on the workshop, while Dr. Mohd. Fariyad, Dean & Head of the Department, welcomed the dignitaries. Mr. Mohd. Tahir Qureshi, Assistant Professor, presented a comprehensive report summarizing the key highlights of the 12 technical sessions conducted by distinguished resource persons. Dr. Meraj Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Department of MCJ moderated the session.
Feedback about the workshop was shared by participants including Mr. Yameen Ansari and Mr. Asad Kamal Lari, who expressed gratitude for the valuable knowledge and practical insights gained.
Dr. Danish Khan, Guest Faculty proposed a vote of thanks.
In the first technical session, the resource person, Dr. Asif Ali from Ruby TV, Hyderabad, spoke on “Basics of Mobile Journalism (MoJo) in Urdu”. Dr. Waseem Rashid, resource person delivered talk on “Personality Development for Women in Journalism” in the second session. The speaker, Dr. Nagendra Kumar Singh, Director, MGKVP, Varanasi, addressed the topic “Issues & Challenges in Field Reporting” in third technical session.
Research Scholars - Mr. Salman Khan, Ms. Sadiya Najar and Mr. Shehzan Khan moderated the technical sessions.
