Vigilance Awareness Week Observed at MANUU

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 by organizing a special program on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor administered the Integrity Pledge to the university faculty, non-teaching staff, officers, students, and research scholars. While addressing the Vice Chancellor spoke about the importance of shared responsibility and its positive impact in daily life. He emphasized that vigilance and integrity are essential not only in professional settings but also in personal conduct.

Prof. Vanaja M, Chief Vigilance Officer, delivered an insightful address highlighting the importance and relevance of vigilance in everyday life. She explained how being vigilant helps individuals live responsibly, ethically, and with integrity.

At the beginning of the program, a one-minute silence was observed in memory of the wife of MANUU’s Second Vice Chancellor Prof. A. M. Pathan, who passed away on October 23. The Vice Chancellor and all attendees paid heartfelt tribute to her.

 Mr. C Mutyala Rao delivered welcome address and Dr. Afroz Zaheer conducted the program whereas Mr. Habib Ahmad presented a vote of thanks.
