MANUU finds place in QS Asia Ranking

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) finds place in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026. It is ranked in the 1101-1200 band from among 1500 academic institutions across Asia. Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) is a global higher education analyst and services provider which is known for publishing the widely recognized QS World University Rankings.
MANUU is a Central University established to provide wider access to people desirous of pursuing higher education in Urdu medium through regular and distance modes of education with a focus on Women Education.
EFLU is the other central University which secured placed in 1401-1500 band. From Telangana state, Osmania University, Hyderabad Central University also got place in ranking apart from MANUU and EFLU. Total 292 academic institutions were selected from India.
The University Vice Chancellor Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan while expressing happiness said the University is constantly striving to improve its performance in various categories. The university is also ahead in implementing the National Education Policy. Recently, two scientific papers of MANUU's Scholar from Physics department have been published in the prestigious international journal "Scientific Reports".
Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar congratulated the MANUU community for finding a place among the best universities in QS ranking. He pointed out that this distinction increases our responsibility towards the institution and we need to work hard to further improve our position.
