“Role of Urdu University in my Success” MANUU Alumni Seminar held

Hyderabad:

"The School of Education of MANUU is one of the largest education schools in Asia. The pass out students of the school has found jobs in government and non-government sectors in the country and abroad" these views were expressed today by Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University. He was addressing the inaugural session of the Seminar “Role of Urdu University in my Success” organized by Dean Alumni Affairs, MANUU and MANUU Alumni Association.

While appreciating the awareness campaign "Visit Urdu University" run by MANUU Alumni Association, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan said under the campaign every week students from one school or college are given an observation tour of the University which may be beneficial for the students in future.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Mohammed Lateef Khan, Chairman, MS Education Academy in his address said that Urdu is taught as a compulsory subject in more than 100 educational institutions run under MS Education Academy. The Academy not only recognizes the importance of Urdu but is also taking concrete steps to promote it, he added. He described MANUU as his dream come true. MANUU is working on the lines of the institution which he planned to establish. MANUU aims to empower marginalized sections of society by providing them with quality education.

Prof. Syed Najamul Hasan, Coordinator, Dean Alumni Affairs in his welcome address briefed about the seminar. Dr. Mohd. Mustafa Ali Sarwari, Seminar Coordinator convened the programme. Mr. Aijaz Ali Quraishi, President, MANUU Alumni Association also spoke on the occasion.
