ICCIDSDT-2026 begins at MANUU

"Researchers must think beyond conventional approaches and ensure that their research benefits people living below the poverty line as well" emphasized Prof. R. S. Nirjar, Former Chairman, AICTE, and Former Vice-Chancellor, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida today at Maulana Azad National Urdu University. He was speaking as the chief guest during the inaugural of two-day International Conference organized by the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology of MANUU. Prof. Stefan Wolfgang Pickl, Chair for Operations Research, Universität der Bundeswehr München, Germany, was the Guest of Honour.
The inaugural programme was presided over by Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor, MANUU, who highlighted the importance of collaborations, understanding our own capabilities, the extent to which we can seek help from machines, how technology can be used to employ more people, how to differentiate between real and fake information, and finally, applying one’s mind to conduct better research.
Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, in his address remarked that such conferences strengthen research culture and skill development. He stated that the conference outcomes would contribute significantly to advancements in computational intelligence, data science, and digital transformation.
Prof. Abdul Wahid, Dean, School of Technology and Chairman of ICCIDSDT-2026, emphasized that the conference was conceptualized with a clear vision to bridge the gaps between theoretical research, real-world applications, and industry-driven innovation.
Dr. Ts. SyarifahBahiyahRahayu, Director, Cyber Security & DIR Centre, National Defence University of Malaysia and Dr. Santosh K. Pandey, Scientist E / Additional Director, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, also spoke on the occasion.
Prof. Pradeep Kumar, Head, Department of CS & IT, and Director, ICCIDSDT-2026, shared that total 344 research papers were received from different countries including United States, United Kingdom, UAE, Jamaica, and other neighboring countries and 26% research papers were accepted for presentation.
The souvenir was also released on the occasion. The conference "Computational Intelligence, Data Science, and Digital Transformations (ICCIDSDT-2026) is being organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Institutions Innovation Cell (IIC) and conference proceedings to be published by the Springer.
