MANUU Organises “SHE–EVOLVE” Job Mela for Women

 

Hyderabad:

The Training and Placement Cell of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) today organised a one-day SHE–EVOLVE Job Mela for Women as part of the Viksit Bharat Abhiyan (1947–2047) initiative. The event was conducted under the theme “Rozi: Rize of Zealous Individuals”, aiming to enhance employability and career opportunities for women.

 

The Job Mela registered over 1,000 students and women job seekers, with 48 recruiting employers from diverse sectors taking part, making it one of the largest women-centric placement drives.

 

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor, who was the Chief Guest inaugurated the job mela and Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, MANUU was the Guest of Honour. In their addresses, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of skill development, industry linkage, and institutional support in empowering women and improving workforce participation.

 

Dr. Mohammed Mazhar Ali, Chairman and CEO, ASTI Group of Institutions, attended the programme as a Special Guest and flew in especially from Dubai as a recruiting employer to identify and recruit suitable candidates.

 

The Job Mela was organised under the supervision of Dr. Mohd Yousuf Khan, Director, Training and Placement Cell, MANUU.

 

A number of distinguished personalities representing organisations such as DEET (Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana), The Visa Depot, InnoCreutr, Magic Bus India Foundation, NWORX, Nirmaan Organization, Femicare Hospital, and KML Travel World, among others participated in the job mela.
